"For some time I had been feeling increasingly stressed at work. My business had been struggling and I was fighting off my business partners who wanted to make half our staff redundant. We were falling out all the time and it wasn’t very pleasant. I was awake half the night on a regular basis worrying. I was making mistakes at work and was less than fun to be around at home.
Karen’s help has been really important. I have taken a positive and supportive line with my business partners (after all, I’m not the only one stressed) without giving in. I have been much more supportive of myself. We have a social life again. Things are on the up. And there’s nothing better than a good night’s sleep.
Thank you Karen"

"I came to see Karen the week before my flight to Tenerife. My fear of flying was so crippling that I hadn't been on a plane for nearly 20 years. 3 sessions in one week and I flew like a bird! No anxiety at all! I fell asleep for half of the flight, I looked out of the window on take off and landing. I even took off my seat belt and walked around! I only wish I'd come across Karen sooner. She was amazing and so supportive. Thank you Karen!"

"I had suffered from sleep problems and depression for some time. My wife suggested that I give hypnotherapy a try. Being brutally honest I was very sceptical and did not think it would be for me. I certainly did not think it would work! How wrong could I have been!!
Karen is a great person, she will put you at your ease from the moment you meet her and pull out all the key issues in a very relaxed way, before you know it you have opened up to her – she is a very professional therapist.
Quite frankly; I was totally blown away at just how quickly I adapted to this treatment. The difference it has made to me is off the scale. My sleep pattern is just about perfect. In terms of the depression; again a quantum leap forward – life is much , much better.
This treatment has the potential to be life changing - go for it !"

"Hello yes doing well - lost about 5lb not much but at least not gone on and walking is improving all the time the gym is pleased with me as they were watching me and said I was walking straighter knees still hurt but I'm sure this will improve as I go on - believe it or not I was thinking of texting you an update - have a good day"

"I was 21 when I found out I was pregnant and I was terrified. But strangely it was not the responsibility, telling people or even the labour that frightened me. It was the thought of having to be anywhere near a needle. I knew I had no choice and I'd been told how good Karen is so although I was not convinced it would make any difference, I went along.
Within three sessions my needle phobia was gone and I was shocked how well hypnotherapy had worked."

"I would like to say that going to see Karen was one of the best things I did after loosing my darling husband she helped me to see the positive side of life more as when seeing bereavement counsellors and attending meetings with them they only seemed to drag me down. I had 5 sessions in all which helped enormously especially the CD which helped me relax, which I still have to listen to every night which helps me sleep. I know the things I had to do in order to try and put my life back in order and with her making me make positive decisions like almost entering a verbal contract with her I was able to carry out these things. Thank you for your help."

"I chose Hypnotherapy because I'd tried other areas of counselling without much success. Wasn't sure what to expect really but from your previous clients feedback I gave it a try. I guess I did achieve what I'd hoped for. Yes I would recommend Hypnotherapy . I would sum it up as - emotional, amazing, thought provoking, restful, life changing."
Ann, Swindon - Depression
"What I expected. No... I wasn't expecting to be so awake.
Achieve No..but I have achieved things/feelings I never
thought I would.
Goal. No because I didn't really have one (bar loosing weigh) but for me to stop being so panicked before about not having nice things in the house and now to go nights without its great. I'm so pleased I came and experienced it and it's had this much of an effect on me.
Recommend...100%yes
Summing up. Something that has changed my outlook. Made me find my inner confidence, believe in myself and what I do and be comfortable with me. When I find myself having those old thoughts I can actually hear myself saying think of something good, turn this bad mood into a positive and it works. It's amazing. You're amazing"

"I chose hypnotherapy as I had heard positive things about it from other friends, I wanted to find a natural way of controlling my nerves. I believe staying relaxed and calm through out pregnancy and the birth itself is important for myself and the baby.
It wasn't what I expected, it was better. It not only kept me calm throughout my pregnancy (especially at the end) and my baby's birth it also helped with those little niggling things that pregnant ladies seem to suffer from.... I stopped getting up through the night to go to the toilet, my heart burn got better and I also started sleeping through the night like I did before I was pregnant.
Unfortunately I didn't have the natural birth I expected to have, I ended up having an emergency caesarean, but as I found out after my baby was born I never would have been able to achieve a natural birth as my baby's head was in the wrong position which the midwives never picked up. Although I had a long labour I managed to stay calm throughout the whole procedure. I stayed focused on the end result and I also managed to find my 'safe place' during the gaps when the pain was at its worst.
Because of the relaxation techniques Karen taught me I also managed to relax on those vital early weeks after the baby was born. My baby has always been a content and happy baby and my caesarean healed very quickly.
I would and have already recommended it to people. I would definitely choose to do it again if I have a second child.
Karen made the end of my pregnancy a pleasure. I was two weeks over due and my bump was a lot bigger than the average person my height and weight which made it extremely uncomfortable. If I hadn't have gone to see Karen I expect those last few weeks would have been a lot harder. I think back to my hypnotherapy experience with great fondness."

"Karen you are an amazing lady!!!! I floated to the car park. I rang my daughter and she was laughing because I was so happy and didn't shut up!!! Just had a chat with Julie too. I can't wait until next week. Thank you x"

"After watching my children and husband go up on the Millennium wheel for the second time, while I stood and watched at the bottom, I thought enough was enough. I went to see Karen after some positive feedback from others and asked if she could help cure my fear of heights and while she was at it fear of flying too.
Before my treatment I went to St Pauls Cathedral and climbed to the balcony midway around the dome. My legs were jelly and I couldn’t move. I crawled my way around and then ran back down the stairs again. After two sessions with Karen I went back to St Pauls with my whole family and I was sceptical. I gave my kids instructions to hold my hand tight and not to move as I would need to sit down at the top. However, it was so strange, we walked around freely. I had no anxiety whatsoever and I even let the kids look over the balcony and wander around. We also climbed even further still and went right to the very top and looking out over London was amazing. No sweaty palms, no jelly legs, no fast heartbeat just a big massive smile and it felt great. It was so freeing to finally feel the thrill of being up high.
We are also planning to fly somewhere in the near future which for the first time I’m excited about and not looking for alternate routes. It really has made me feel free from something that is so silly but so life inhibiting."

However, whilst dealing with my phobia my biggest problem was revealed. I had self-harmed since I was 12 years old. As hard as I tried I couldn't find a reason good enough to stop, even my unborn child, but I was so scared, scared that one day it would kill me,that eventually I'd stop fighting it.
Karen was kind, loving and totally non-judgemental. I found myself talking candidly to someone who actually cared what I had to say.
I am now 22 and I haven't self harmed since the day I stepped into Karen's house. I know it sounds over dramatic but she has saved my life. My cravings to cut have totally gone and I will never be able to thank her enough for giving me my life back. I've gone from a complete recluse to a happy, healthy young mum where my biggest concern is which nappies to buy. Take it from someone that was a complete skeptic, hypnotherapy works and I don't even want to think where I would be, or even who i would be without it.
Katie, Minety - Self Harm
"Hypnotherapy helped me overcome many forms of anxiety and helped me gain self confidence. I used have terrible travel sickness, but now I can travel anywhere without any worry or stress. At first I was a bit sceptical about the treatment as I didn't know much about it, but it has helped me become a more level headed person and I don't know where I would be without it."
